Civicon supported the delivery of Ontario’s first public hydrogen refuelling station designed to serve both light-duty vehicles and transport trucks at Toronto Pearson International Airport.

Developed by Carlsun Energy in partnership with the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA), the facility represents an important investment in Ontario’s emerging clean-energy transportation infrastructure. Located within one of Canada’s most significant transportation and economic hubs, the project forms part of Toronto Pearson’s broader commitment to developing cleaner and more efficient energy solutions.

Civicon was responsible for the excavation and formwork scopes associated with the project, providing the civil and concrete expertise required to support construction of this innovative facility.

Working within the operational environment of Toronto Pearson required careful planning, coordination and disciplined field execution. Civicon’s team delivered its scope with a continued focus on safety, quality and collaboration, supporting the successful development of infrastructure that will contribute to the transition toward lower-emission transportation in Ontario.
